My Favorite Skin Care Products

I hope everyone is having an amazing Saturday!  Today I wanted to share what I use as far as skin care.  I always like to wash my face twice daily, morning and night.

I had been wanting to try out the Clinique line for a while.  In January for my birthday I finally decided to try it out and I have to say that I love it.

My favorite is the Dramatically different moisturizing lotion.  My skin tends to change a lot throughout the year.  There were times when I had dry patches on my face and some oily spots as well.  This lotion has made my skin feel and look good for the past few months.

I purchased this set, it has the travel set and the bigger size products for daily use.  This is a 3 step process it has the cleanser, the toning lotion and lastly the moisturizing lotion.

  1. Rinse your face thoroughly with the facial cleanser, you can use a brush or your hands.  Below I will talk more about the brush that I use.
  2. After cleansing dry your face and apply the toning lotion, I apply it with these cotton rounds.
  3. Lastly apply the Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion.

After step 3 you are done and ready to start the day or end the your day.  They are all phenomenal products please try them out, you will love them.

To cleanse or exfoliate my face I always use some kind of facial brush.  The one that I use is the Foreo Luna 2 , which is a facial cleansing brush and an anti-aging facial massager.   You don’t have to use this specific one there are always other options.

Another very important part of skin care is using SPF lotion on your face daily.  I personally use one that has an SPF of 40 and it is for men and women.  It is the Clinique Super City Block Ultra Protection SPF 40.  I apply this every time before I go out anywhere.  Aside from protecting my face it is also oil-free, which means no extra shiny face.

Click on the blue underlined letters to check out any of the products that I use.  Please try them out and let me know what you think.

Day 6 of my squat challenge!

Day 6 of my squat challenge!

Recently I started going to the gym mostly every day.  I love it because the time that I am there is me time and I feel great after every gym session.

This past Sunday I started my own 30 day squat challenge.  The challenge consists of 100 squats per day for 30 days. Squats are great because they provide a workout for multiple muscle groups which include thighs, the butt and core.

I originally got the idea from a video that I watched on YouTube.  Click below to watch it and get motivated!!!

100 squats might be too much for some people but for others it’s perfect. I like to challenge myself so I always use a specific resistance band for all types of squats.  The bands that I use is also amazing for hip thrust, walking squats, walking side steps, walking forward step, hip abduction and adduction, hip band kick backs and the list goes on.  Click on any of the pictures below to purchase either if the resistance bands.

I challenge you to challenge yourself! Buy the resistance band and start squatting, you can basically do it anywhere. If you travel a lot, start squatting at the airport.  If you have kids, start squatting while they eat or nap.  If you work all of the time, squat during your 15 minute breaks.

I will let you guys know what changes I see on my body after I am done with my 30 day squat challenge.
